Favorite thing about being a Rogers' volunteer: I have formed great friendships with the people in this group who share my passion for saving animals. The dogs themselves are my inspiration. I am amazed at their resilience, their ability to look to the future with enthusiasm instead of dwelling on what may have happened to them in the past. Their willingness to forgive even though they have every right not to and their ever trusting friendship with humans because they believe there is good in all people. They have taught me how to be a better person.
