Favorite thing about being a Rogers' volunteer: I joined when my mom adopted 2 wonderful beagles from Rogers' Rescues. Wendy and Peyton brought such joy to the whole family. I said during my volunteer interview that I wanted to make that feeling happen for other families. Although an active volunteer, I actually only started fostering in 2010. Fostering is only a part of what we do. If you have ever thought of volunteering for a dog rescue, this is the one. We make families complete 1 dog at a time. That feeling the day we brought Wendy and Peyton home is still going strong for me even after 6 years.
