Reese still acts as any 9 month old puppy would and certainly shows no signs of her handicap! She welcomes me home with a wagging tail and her big brown eyes melt my heart every time! We have been working on “dog sign language” and she is doing really well with it. She even worked with a Deaf Dog Trainer who said she is very smart and wants to learn!
Reese loves to take walks and play fetch. Her ideal home would be an active home that wants to include her in their lives, hiking, walking, swimming and even obedience training. She can do it all! Reese needs a home with consistency where she can continue learning to be the great dog she wants to be.
Reese is gentle with children and loves the company of another dog. She would certainly thrive with a family with some experience with deafness and should probably have another dog in the home. She would be OK as the only dog as long as she has companionship at home during her silent days. Your reward would be a loyal companion for many years to come.
Reese is spayed and microchipped. She is up to date on all her shots and monthly preventatives. If you think you have room in your home and your heart for this special girl, please contact us so we can set up a meeting with Reese so she too can have a family of her own. She is ready for her second blessing.
