Who We Are
Rogers' Rescues is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by an all volunteer
staff. All of the donations and adoption fees are used for rescuing, vetting,
transporting, and caring for dogs from kill shelters.
Our volunteers are people just like you. We're moms, dads, kids, college students,
senior citizens and young adults who love dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds,
and colors. Most of us are not professional trainers, but along the way we
do learn alot from each other about training dogs and helping them destress
and overcome their fears. Some of us work full time or part time. Others are
retired or stay-at-home parents. We all lead busy lives, but wanted to do
something more...something meaningful, so when we found out about www.petfinder.com,
we decided to join a rescue.
Without our 60+ volunteers, what we do would not be possible. We all work
together fostering, transporting, interviewing, perfoming home visits, and
countless other things in order to ensure that our animals find the best forever
homes. We do all of this in our spare time. For some of us that means in the
evenings and on weekends. We all contribute different amounts of time and
energy to our rescue efforts, but we're all in this for the dogs...to get
them out of the doghouses, off the chains, and into the loving arms of their
forever families.
If who we are and what we do motivates you to do something more for the dogs...please fill out our volunteer
application online. Help us advocate rescue and lead by example.
